Are you guys a medical provider?
Customer: replied 1 year ago.
I am a home visitor, not a medical provider. I am a child development and child abuse prevention worker
Expert:  Asad Rahman replied 1 year ago.
Ok. No I do not believe this would be co sidered a hipaa violation.

its okay if the ddhr makes me tell them how many cigarettes you smoke, number of books in your house, and disclose your abuse history (victim) even if you receive no services from the state, and were not in their data base prior to us giving them to DHHR
Expert:  Asad Rahman replied 1 year ago.

is there any recourse for these people who aren't aware that their information is being sent to the DDHR, the only question they don't ask is gun ownership.

Ask if you can have a disclosure or consent agreement signed by them.
