Yes, the difference is that when you open the partnership, the business will no longer have "LLC" or "Limited Liability Company" in the name (you will need to drop that part of the name), but otherwise you can continue using it.

You will need to file a fictitious business name for your "new" partnership business name (the same as for your LLC minus the "LLC" part).
