* This question is lawyer/client confidential*
Background: We are a video games company planning on licensing a weapon called the AA-12 for use in one of our games. This weapon has been used in other games but without license.

Question: The below paragraph is from a proposed letter agreement. Would it confer upon us unlimited responsibility to stop unauthorized use of the weapon in other games?

Publisher is developing a video game ... which it intends to publish in the United States and other global markets. Publisher believes there is significant equity in the brand name and image of the AA-12 and the name Military Police System LLC and would like to feature Military Police System LLC products inside Game, and to have exclusive rights to the use of the AA-12 in all video gaming platforms both known and unknown at this time and will agree to protect the the rights of Military Police Systems LLC to the best of our abilities within the industry.

It does but it qualifies it as to the best interest of your abilities so it is quite vague.
