if there are 2 members of an llc without a defined operating agreement entitled to equal contract signing authority? if so, does that mean either member can enter into a contract without the signature of the other partner?

How many members does the LLC currently contain?
Customer: replied 7 years ago.
There are only 2 members.

In that case if either of the members gets into a contract or an agreement, he will not need the permission of the other party, and he can make the LLC liable for the agreement.

Does that mean the same goes for ending a contract/agreement?
Expert:  Dimitry K., Esq. replied 7 years ago.
Yes, if the other party to the contract believes that the specific member of the LLC has the authority to end such contracts.
