2011 Buick Enclave Traction...

2011 Buick Enclave Traction Control/ stabilitrak alarm and engine power taken away.

Mechanic's Assistant: Have you checked the fuses? Is your battery fully charged?

It clearrs after awhile but is very annoying. Thanks Buick for taking away my engine power when I need it the most. Especially annoying when on a long trip and you are reduced to about 40 mph. That is rediculous.

Mechanic's Assistant: Are you fixing your Enclave yourself? What have you tried so far?

Haven't tried anything yet. It went away for about a month and now came back since we just got snow again.

Mechanic's Assistant: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?

I am very disappointed that any vehicle manufacturer would rob power from the engine like that. That is engineering gone to far.

No. It went away for over a month then came back when we got snow again. Don't want to pay a lot of money to have it fixed. Will trade it off before I put a lot of money into it.

Here is a technical bulletin for the problem caused by the front wheel sensors getting a bad signal due to metallic debris on the front sensors and sensor rings. Have the system tested for codes and inspect the front hubs as per instructions in thsi tech bulletin and repair as needed after inspected.
