Hey, I have a 2006 Buick Lacrosse. My alarm is constantly draining my battery and I need to disable it. Can you tell me how?

Mechanic's Assistant: Okay, I'll connect you to the mechanic to go over that information regarding your Buick LaCrosse. Before I do, is there anything else you want him to know?

No, that's it.

There isn't a switch
Buick Mechanic: david craig, ASE Certified Technician replied 10 months ago

ok, well if the factory alarm is disabled you wont be able to start the vehicle. so this needs to be looked at by a shop to determine where the drain is coming from. They have the high end scan tools that can talk to all of the different modules in the vehicle to determine why this is happening.

Buick Mechanic: david craig, ASE Certified Technician replied 10 months ago

you may be able to disconnect the alarm horn to see if the drain goes away but other than that it needs diagnosed properly
