JA: Is the power loss consistent, or does it fluctuate?
Customer: nothing at all
JA: What is the model/year of your Buick?
Customer: 94 buic regal gs
JA: Are you fixing your Regal yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: changed the starter thought i had all power disconected but wasn"t wire arced checked all fusses all good

on the old obd 1 systems the dlc is powered by the ecm.

attached is the wiring diagram and terminal identifiers for you.

if you cannot communicate then the ecm is bad and must be replaced.
