Any issues when putting it into drive? And does your dash have a digital display for the gear you are in, and is it registering correctly?

goes into drive smoothly with smooth idle,it does how ever hesitate if you steep on the gas to fast.

The neutral safety switch was just a two wire pin, correct? I would check the wiring to ground (measure with an ohm meter or test light) on the black w/white wire.

Have you checked fuses? I have the following for the transmission-

fuel/ecm 20a and ign 10a in underhood fuse box

ecm 15a and indic 10a in interior fuse panel
