What is the H wire on a 1998 Buick Ultra Cruise Control

Customer Question

What is the H wire on a 1998 Buick Ultra Cruise Control Module
JA: Have you checked the fuse? What size is your engine?
Customer: 3800, yes the fuse is good
JA: What is the make/model of your car?
Customer: 1998 Buick Ultra
JA: Are you fixing your vehicle yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, it was to a mechanic to fix the cruise to no avail. All signals to the Cruise Control MNodule are correct, except we need to know what we should wee at the H Wire. The problem we are having is after the inital key turn on where the cruise light is diplayed, however when driving and trying to engaGE THE CRUISE THE light does not come back on and the cruise does not work.
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

Terminal "H" on the CCM is for the cruise control signal 'disengage'. Please see attached diagram, thanks.

It seems that you may need the diagnostics for the cruise control.
