Hello my name is***** am an ASE Master Technician and I am glad to help you out with your question.

Expert:  Dan replied 9 months ago.

The first step is to scan with a scan tool that can access the awd codes. Since the light on the dash is on. This means that you have codes stored that are causing this problem. You need to read these codes to be able to diagnose this problem.
