2003 Buick LaSabre ,While on cruse at 60 MPH I wanted to

Customer Question

2003 Buick LaSabre ,While on cruse at 60 MPH I wanted to increase speed and applied the acelerator a little, nothing. Than I floored it and it went to 80 Mph very quickly , and when I let up it continued to speed up. I appliwd the brake to knock of the cruse to no effect. I applied the brake as hard as possible and was only able to keep it from increasing in speed. Than I turned off the egnition and restarted, and trouble cleared out. Whew . . .
JA: Are you fixing your LeSabre yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: I don't know where to start, and would just like to know how serious this is
JA: Will the headlights turn on? Is the battery fully charged?
Customer: the car works normally with all other functions ok
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: no

This is very serious and you should have it looked at and fixed immediately and don't use the cruise control until it is fixed.
