There has got to be a way to repair the peeling dashboard

Customer Question

There has got to be a way to repair the peeling dashboard without replacing the whole dash! Can you advise?
JA: How long has this been going on?
Customer: Since the beginning of summer of 2016.
JA: What is the model of your '16 Buick?
Customer: It's a 2003 Buick LeSabre Limited.
JA: Are you fixing your LeSabre yourself? What have you tried so far?
Customer: Yes, and I have been looking at my options. The dealer said that I need to replace the dash at a cost of $1500.00
JA: Anything else you want the mechanic to know before I connect you?
Customer: Only that it's the front part of the dash poping up.

Ok, if possible, can you take a photo of the dash where it is peeling up and upload it here. There is a paperclip icon on your reply box to use for uploading photos.

It will make it easier to tell you what, if any options you have in repairing this
