2008 Buick Enclave CXL AWD, rear blower works but no heat

Customer Question

2008 Buick Enclave CXL AWD, rear blower works but no heat
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix with a Buick. The Buick Mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so he can help you best.
Customer: turned the rear thermostat up to +12, all we get is cold air from all the rear vents. It will change from head to floor or both with no problem, the fan works, however no heat comes out at all. Checked the RR HVAC fuse but it only shut off the fan.
JA: Are you hoping to fix this yourself?
Customer: possibly, I'm a heavy equipment mechanic
JA: Is there anything else the Buick Mechanic should be aware of about your Buick?
Customer: no
JA: OK. Got it. I'm sending you to a secure page on JustAnswer so you can place the $5 fully-refundable deposit now. While you're filling out that form, I'll tell the Buick Mechanic about your situation and then connect you two.

Can you feel if both heater hoses/pipes to the rear heater core are hot after the engine has warmed up?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Where are they
Expert:  Mike S. replied 1 year ago.

I'll look it up but first make sure the engine coolant level is full.

Expert:  Mike S. replied 1 year ago.

You may have to jack it up, then remove the right rear wheelhouse liner panel.

Here are the instructions for accessing it plus a diagram,

The rear heater hose/pipes are the 2 and 3 in the diagram.

Thank you

You have to maybe remove the wheel, if those hoses are not exposed somewhere under there,
