The light is flashing so i left the key on til the liggt went solid 3 times but still didnt turn over

Are the directions in the link below the ones you followed?

If you followed this and the theft light remains on or flashing when trying to start then there is a system issue that has stored a code. Do you have a scan tool?

No i dont but now it starts and shuts off
