Fuel to rail coupler leaks when you press on it on my Buick

Customer Question

Fuel to rail coupler leaks when you press on it on my Buick Park Avenue 2002.
Is the system is design this way or the coupler has defect?

Lightly pressing down on the fuel supply line at the fuel rail should not cause it to leak fuel, but if you press down hard it will indeed leak as it causes the coupler to spread and open some thereby allowing fuel to get around it.
So it depends on how hard you pressed when it leaked. If you just lightly pressed down on it and it leaked, then the coupler in the fuel supply line is worn out
If you pressed down with force when it leaked, that would be normal
