1995 Buick La Sabre the compressor and vent fan do not turn

Customer Question

1995 Buick La Sabre the compressor and vent fan do not turn off when the ignition is off and the key is removed. I had to disconnect the battery to keep it from going dead. Note the environmental control pad has failed, and the system has defaulted to
continuous defrost at a set temp. So, the vent fan continuous to run. I think there is something wrong with the ignition switch, but any advice on where to start would be appreciated.

Hello, my name is ***** ***** I am a professional here at Just Answer. I have noticed that your question was not getting a response and thought I would see if you still need help with this.I apologize for the delay and I hope I can still assist you with this here
The common cause for the blower to run with the key off can be caused by a failing blower motor module located in the engine compartment next to the blower motor I have enclosed the test steps in the link below as well as the location of the module. Copy and paste the links to your browser to open and view them.

These links do not work. Please try again. Also is the blower module or relay in question?

I am not seeing any problem with the links, start with making sure your PC is not behind a firewall. They will also not work if your using a phone.
