2009 Buick Enclave CXL: Radio/CD/DVD/NAV system..CD player

Customer Question

I inserted a CD into my 2009 Buick Enclave CXL, Radio/CD/DVD/NAV system and the eject button will not eject it; any way to force the CD player to eject the CD. Everything else seems to be functioning okay.

You "might" be able to fish the CD Oout if it is a Single CD Unit, not changer, but usually the Mechanism is bad

You can try a Reset by
Remove Unit
Unplug completely for apprx 5 minutes
Reconnect & wait apprx 30 seconds for Unit to initialize
Press Eject

Typically the CD Mechanism needs Repaired / Replaced

apprx $ 285.00 - 395.00 depending on Shop & Parts
You can usually find the same Model Unit On-Line, E-Bay, etc. for less than Repair.
