Do you know the Nav in a 05 Buick has ability to have XM Radio and an Ipod car kit installed so you dont lose function of XM. I bought a kit off of Crutchfield and they advised me that it has an extra plug in back so I wont have to remove the XM radio.
I was not aware of that kit that kit.

OK. IS that all you need from me then?

Do you know if there are two ports on the back of a 05 Navigation system. 1 for XM and an additional for this kit or for say a 6 disk cd changed which I knew was an option with this vehicle. That should be last question. My kit wont be here till tomorrow now so cant do install till then. Sorry for the questions.
There are a couple of connectors in the back. THe changer is part of the headunit and not a separate unit in these.

Where would be a good place to run a 12 volt off of to connect to the adapter I bought. I tried running it of of the yellow 12 volt hooked into the air control and it seemed to not be enough. Sorry thats last question and I will accept your answer. Thanks again.
Do you need ignition power or batter power? For battery I would go onto the lighter circuit.
