Hello and welcome to Just Answer!

What has happened is the gear drive for the forward control motor has stripped. To repair this condition, the seat riser assembly (which will contain the new motors) will need to be replaced.

Customer: replied 7 years ago.
could u explain step by step what is best to do to repair it myself? is this stripped part under the seat or in the control on the side of the seat, and if it is on the side wouldnt it be better to get another one from the yard to install?PLEASE GIVE ME SOME NEWS I CAN USE STEP BY STEP TO REPLACE IT

You may be able to obtain one from a wrecking yard, you would have to do some calling around to find out. As for step-by-step directions:

1. Remove any plastic trim that covers seat track.
2. Remove nuts/bolts that retain seat to vehicle.
3. Tip seat forward to access and disconnect wiring connectors.
4. Remove seat from vehicle and place seat upside down.
5. Remove seat track and motor assembly from seat.
6. Install new/used seat track assembly.
7. Reinstall seat in reverse order from above.
