1997 buick lesabre: a factory alarm system that..fob..disconnect

Resolved Question:

my 1997 buick lesabre has a factory alarm system that never completely shuts off, even when not using the fob to lock the car. the result is a constant drain on the battery when the car is not running. no one except a factory dealer can legally disconnect it, and they want a ridiculous price to do it. how can i disconnect it myself?
