i want to hotwire my 1990 buick century. My ignition will unlock steering wheel and turn dash on but will no longer go far enough to turn starter. I have a pushbutton

One wire goes to battery power, the other goes to the starter solenoid ignition terminal. With key in on position, car should start with button.

i will pay you I should have been more specific. Im looking for that wire (color) going up my steering column . I didnt want to tear my column up to look at the ignition and i didnt want to cut into every wire

You won't be going through the ignition switch harness for this, just run the wires separately through the firewall and to the appropriate places. It's a 20 minute job my way, and you won't see the wires.
