    I have a 2019 TIGE RZX2 and need to replace the batteries (2). I read somewhere that I need a cranking battery for engine start, etc... and a deep cycle battery for accessories incl. stereo, etc... I also read that I should not have the battery switch on 'Combine' while operating. I am not clear if I have EIDB battery system or not. (1) How do I know what I need for batteries? and (2) if the switch isn't on combine...do I have to constantly switch it to go from starting boat to sitting and operating stereo?

  • I have a 2010 Mercury Optimax 115. When I hit 4000 RPMs I
    I have a 2010 Mercury Optimax 115. When I hit 4000 RPMs I get an engine overspeed warning. If I drop back below 4000 it continues to run fine. It also does not do this all the time. sometimes I can run full throttle with no problems. I believe it is a problem with my TPS thinking the engine is in neutral and wants to warn about the high RPMs. I can stop turn the boat off an restart and it will run fine. I have smartcraft gauges one warning is a code 134 and the other I get is code 210. Two questions?Would you agree that this is a TPS problem or could it be soemething else? I have a new TPS, but is it behind
