took carbs apart and cleaned them well start a and idles good only getting 1/2 rpms

This is 50 go merc from indiana have 40 to 50 volts on red cdi same on blue and green jumping from was jumping from 70 to over 200 volts not positive .cause d.mm. not fast enough. Green to coils is 50 to 180 volts and bottom 2 cylinders don't look like they're even firing.
Getting only 50V on the blue tells you that it is the low speed coil of the stator that has an issue. You need 150V going to the coils for them to build up the voltage in the secondary winding to jump the gap.

Yes 1 piece. Part 8. Since this is electric start, you need the electric one.
Use that part number ans shop around a bit. If going aftermarket, CDI is a good brand and they stand behind their products.
This is the kit. It comes with an updated stator.
