How is Oil Pressure looking?

Ask Your Own Boat Question
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
no,but it seems i could do this also with the oil pressure switch to if you can tell me where to find it
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
oil pressure gauge is fine
Customer reply replied 3 months ago
should i put more trust in the gauges vs the alarm?

It's on Port Aft of the motor. It controls the fuel pump. You can disconnect it momentarily. It will stop the fuel pump.

Try Temp Sender first. I'm pretty sure if Oil Pressure Switch is faulty, engine will stop.

Ask Your Own Boat Question

It may still be a faulty connector within the Temp Sensor Circuit... See if you get anything happen disconnecting Sensor first.

just replaced fuel pump too, engine started right up ran fine for 30 min,had a problem on water last week the engine would not start so i replaced fuel pump, problem my be connected.

After this, you can check all the plugs on the Main Engine Harness. Disconnect, Check, Reconnect. Look for signs of water entry or poor connections, then try again. Also check the Main 14 pin Connector.

Yes, That could also be possible.
