Do you have an audible alarm come on? e.g, Steady Horn, Continuous Beeping, 4 Beeps every 2 minutes, Single Beep??

Do you have any type of digital interface or Smartcraft Gauges with the ability to display fault status?

Can you provide a pic of the control box located under the dash for me?

Once we can confirm if there are any fault codes or not, we can take the next steps.

Have you had the engine serviced periodically? What are the current hours on the clock? Have you had any prior work done to the engine, boat or boat Fuel System? Do you have a good reliable source of fuel? I would also check for a fuel blockage and OR air leaks being introduced into the system from loose connections or lift pump.

You are able to check the Fuel Pressure and Air Pressure at the test points at the High Pressure Rails. They should be exactly within spec and if not this will indicate a problem within the Direct Fuel Injection System.

Specs

Fuel Pressure 731 - 758 kPa (106 - 110 psi)

Air Pressure 627 - 655 kPa (91 - 95 psi)

Fuel/Air Differential 103 kPa (15 psi)

Low Pressure Electric Fuel Pump Output 137.9 - 206.8 kPa (20 - 30 psi)

IT IS A ELECTRONIC PROBLEM THE PAD TAKES NO COMAND UNTIL LED LIGHT STOPS FLASHING I THINK ITS THE BOAT COMPUTER UNDER THE DASH JUST LOOKING FOR SOME ONE THAT HAS SEEN THIS PEROLEM SO I WOUNT BUY THE WRONG PARTS TO FIX

Ok, yeah, I just realised that you are talking about a possible DTS problem...Yes, to buy a new Command Module or any DTS associated components would definitely set you back quite a bit. I would be having a Mercury Dealer connect the CDS to it and check for faults at the Helm and possibly do a Re-configure/ Calibration of the Digital Throttle/ Shift. They will also be able to check with Mercury Marine if there is a RE-FLASH required for your 2014 Command Module. That can also be done via the Computer Diag System (CDS).

Also, can you check that the Clean Power Harness and fuse are properly connected directly to the battery and properly intact? The Clean Power Harness is the two wire plug (Red and Black wires) running from the engine to the battery.

Are you able to try another battery with 1000 CCA minimum?

This is not a DTS engine. Its a optimax with a ranger push button keypad. They are notorious for going bad Ranger has an update kit available that will replace the pad and the (black Box) under the dash. If you can supply me with your boat serial number I will get you the correct part numbers
