There isn't any kind of drain hole that would leak. Have you looked for the leak yourself yet?

HI, look very carefully at the seal at the bottom of the cowl. This is usually the place they start to leak. If you see a cut or low spot in the seal where water may be entering, you will need to replace the seal. You should also periodically spray down the engine with a light coat of WD 40, this will prevent rust from forming and help draw water away from the electrical connections, this should be done about every 10 hours in salt water.
