I just transfered my helix 9 to my new boat and it will not power up. I'm getting 13 volts to the plug on the back of the unit. What could be my problem.

It was working great before. The plug shows 13 volts into the unit head. Could it be polarity problem?

There could be one or two things. Either the wires in the connection to the boat are mixed up, or the plug is being installed incorrectly. Make sure that the Red wire in the power cord is connected to a fused place in the boats positive power supply. The black wire is the ground. If they are switched, you will still show voltage, just it will be the wrong polarity for the unit to work.

I found a loose connection in the electric panel. It was giving me 13 volts with no load but 0 volts with load applied. Thanks
Do not sign me up for the $50 per month charge.

Great that you found a loose connection.
