For me to know that I would need the model/serial number of the engine.
Some did and some were just pre mix and then many were converted to premix as so many felt they liked that better than a system that can fail mixing it for them.
If it still has an oil injection system the tank would be visible on the motor, however do not take that as it is fully there and not bypassed or actually working as the systems did suffer from problems that many didn't want to fix so they just went to premix. You should also see the oil pump that the oil tank line attaches to.
1981 I believe started the blackmax series which I believe all had the oil injection.

Part 24 in the picture is the one that would be located on the motor, part 14 is the main tank not located on the engine.
