In the mercruiser SEACORE system they recommend RV

Customer Question

In the mercruiser SEACORE system they recommend RV antifreeze in the raw water system. I would like to add that through the heat exchanger after the water is drained. The boat is already in storage and using muffs through the outdrive is not feasible now.

The only way to do that is you will have to disconnect the raw water supply hose to the heat exchanger and raise the hose higher than the heat exchanger and pour in the anti freeze.

Does this sound like something you can do?

Is the raw water pump on the engine or in the drive. Can you run the engine?
