Hi i am trying to hook up a solar panel to my boat batteries i have one gel deep cycle and one start battery .I've hooked up the batterys and the regulator but can't figure out where to put the load leads to?

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will assist you. The load leads are there in case you want to connect a bulb or a solenoid to switch on directly from the solar panel . It will not take voltage from the battery but just from the panel and it will only work when there is sunlight on the panel. If you have nothing to connect you can just leave it empty.
