Customer Question

I have a 2001 Crownline 192BR.
When I took it out today, it would only run for a few seconds, then die.
It would fire right back up again, but would only run for maybe 30 seconds tops.
When it happened the first couple of times, we were in idle,
When it happened again, we tried giving it some gas and it would run for a little longer, then shut down.
It seemed to either be staving for gas or just not getting spark.
Is there some sort of "lockout" system that shuts down the engine if things aren't right?
