The engine has no power and we're trying to figure out how

Customer Question

Hi. The engine has no power and we're trying to figure out how to tilt the motor up.
JA: Sometimes things that you think will be really complicated end up being easy to fix. The Marine Mechanic I'm going to connect you with knows all the tricks and shortcuts. Tell me a bit more about what's going on so the Marine Mechanic can help you best.
Customer: It's a Yamaha 115 engine. We were able to loosen the screw to allow it to be tilted but it will only tilt about two inches and then seems to be stuck on something.
JA: Is there anything else important you think the Marine Mechanic should know?
Customer: It's been sitting ten years.
