Customer Question

Johnson 90hp 1983 is leaking something with carbon in it from the right back port hole beneath the cowling, I did add seafoam to the gas. Is this a sign the head on that side is leaking.

Hello. My name is Tan.

Can you take a picture of where the engine is leaking please?

Usually black carbon is unburned fuel washing the carbon out of the exhaust. This can be cause by misfiring or flooding cylinder.
