hi i bought a new leftover 2013 JVX18cc where is best place to install the transducer as i don't know water line is?

Install the transducer about 1ft to the right of the engine. Making sure that there is no chines on the bottom of the boat where you are looking to place it. There is a split line on the transducer that needs to be right at the bottom of the boat. This will set the height of it correctly.
