Customer Question

I have a 5.0 volve penta GXI EFI with throttle body. It starts great and ramps up slow and does not fall on its face. If you throttle up fast it falls on its face right away. Fuel pressure stays right at 31 lbs. new, ECM, MAP, TPS, retimed, new distributor and still does the exact same thing. Any ideas of what we are missing?

Hello, my name is***** will assist you.

There are a few things that you have not verified yet. The compression on the engine, even one with low compression can idle smooth. And it the injectors are actually flowing enough fuel for a sudden demand in power. Having then cleaned may also help your problem.
