1993 115 Yamaha outboard engine. It will turn over but not start. It has no fire at the plugs. The main fuse is good.

the first thing that you need to check is the kill switch at the dash. Make sure that it is fully engaged and has good contacts in it with a multimeter, then test the voltage coming from the stator. It should read over 100V AC. then test the pulser coil, it should be around 5V AC. If you have a DVA to attach to your meter, then set the meter to DCV. If everything is producing good voltage up to this point, the CDI is the fault.
