Customer Question

Have a 2004 225 optimax on a 2000 pathfinder. Made a very sharp turn and motor bogged down to running on what sounded like 3 cylinders at 1640 rpm. Increase in throttle changed nothing. After running at about 15 mins it started running smoothly again. ran wide open for 5 min, worked great. throttled back to negotiate a large wake, bounced up and down..motor went back to bogging down. Eventually stopped and wouldn't restart. Towed home. Checked fuel filter, 100% gas, full tank no ethanol new fuel that am, Sea Foam fuel stabilizer. Started back up fine 30 min later. Want to say it sucked air, but that is unlikely. Bad fuel or water unlikely given regular use, regular maintenance. Can you assist?

Hello, my name is***** will assist you.

Have a look at the fuel tank top. See where the pick up for the fuel is coming from. Was the turn you made away from this side?
