Customer Question

I have a westerbeke 10 2 on my oday 272 sailboat. The tach is jumping on and off. I guess it is a lose connection. Where should I start looking? Please.

Hello. My name is Tan.

Start at the back of the tach. You want to be sure you have both voltage and ground to the tach. Make sure all the connections on the back of the tach are tight.

Do you have a model number for the engine?
