I have a 1994 Crownline with a 5.0 Mercruiser. Changed out original throttle control with kill switch to a new Mercruiser Mercury 4000 Gen II Concealed Side Panel Remote Control #8M0011213. This new one also has a kill switch.

Hello jason. Im kevin. I rewired the new throttle switch as per diagram and engine rolled over. Power trim works. Great i thought i was good. Then wired kill switch. Nothing on engine but trim still worked. Disconnected kill switch wires and engine only clicks for a second then nothing but trim still works

Hi Kevin. How many wires do you have run through the kill switch, and what colors are they?
