Hello, my name is***** will assist you.

Has anyone scanned the engine to see what the code is?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
charles im not having confidense in the 3 mechanics ive used. just want another opinion. no info on any codes from mechanics
Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.

Ok, there are 4 main causes for this alarm, the oil tank, water in the fuel, low battery voltage, and a sensor out of range.

How long after starting the engine do you get the alarm?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
within several minutes. just turning key on to look at gauges gives me the beeps. engine runs ok at idle and trolling it seens but mid range runs rough

Are the gauges SmartCraft?

How do your spark plugs look?

Are you near the boat now?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
no boat is at coast. yes on the smartcraft. had full tune up thisw yr i think? (paid for it) thats why seems to me its not fuel but ignition or engine?
Expert:  Charles replied 1 year ago.

the gauge can tell you the code. When the alarm goes off, press the button for more. It will have a text there. With that, I can tell you how to fix this engine. It may even show a number.
