2004 Yamaha 800 XLT , I rebuilt the Mikuni carburetors, have done it many of times. For some reason it wont start. I put my thumb over "fuel in line" and am not feeling any vacuum... What could be the problem?

Hi and thank you for your question.

Did you inspect the fuel pump side of the carbs when you did the rebuild?

Did you double check the vacuum line to ensure it is connected to the intake?

Do you feel engine vacuum pressure on that line?

As best as you can, please describe where on the carb you are feeling, or if on the line, let me know where you are trying to feel vacuum.
