Customer Question

I have a Johnson Model #J140TLCIM 140HP,It starts and run great with no load. As soon as you put in the water it bogs down. If you pull the choke out it runs better. I'm thinking carburetors or fuel pump

Hello my name is ***** ***** I will assist you. The problem you have is with the carbs as you correctly stated. What you need to do is to take the out and have them rebuilt. Most probably you have a jet or two which are blocked. Get them properly cleaned incarb cleaner for a couple of hours and the blow them using compressed air. Finally reasseble everything back using the new rebuilt kit.

If you still have problems or require further assistance let me know.
