2011 Yamaha FP90 TXR 61P, Power trim does not work. Merc

Customer Question

2011 Yamaha FP90 TXR 61P, Power trim does not work. Merc mechanic says relays test O.K. Was tilted manually for Impeller replacement. and dropped manually (set screw) Now with set screw fully open, it will begin to raise manually a tiny bit Maybe back 2 inches, then it locks up as if something metallic is blocking it. Cannot tow to mechanic, because have steep driveway. 1. How do I get it tilted for travel without damage? 2. Should I have motors replaced?

Hello, my name is***** will assist you.

Will the trim motor even run currently?

You have 4 fuses on the front of the engine, all they all good?

Do you hear any clicking when you press the trim button?

Mechanic checked fuses, motor sounded weak when first raised then simply stopped. get click from switch on engine both up and down.. How do I unlock? something in hydraulics? Reverse lock?. We have trailered with motors partly tilted, but only short distances

Are they both stuck at the same height?

Can you post a pic of the trim shafts and the front of the engines here?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Both motors lowered almost simultaneously at slighty different rates. Manual lowering probably went faster. Both now in full down position, but screw was left partly open for a few days. That motor will not raise manually even with manual screw fully open. Steering connecting rod and arms twisted only small amount on lowering.

Are you trying to bring them up at the same time manually?

Customer: replied 1 year ago.
Tried that but still jammed, will regrease tube and look more closely at steering arms and crossbar in daylight. If you send me an email address can probably upload photos to that.
