Dealer installed BayStar steering on my 90 hp Yamaha on

Customer Question

Dealer installed BayStar steering on my 90 hp Yamaha on 18' Nauticstar. Steering is still hard, cannot really see any difference. Noticed nut is frozen to 90 degree rod on starboard side of engine and appears to prevent any swiveling of the rod. I have bleed system and there does not appear to be any air.

Hello. My name is Tan.

Stiff steering can be a couple of things the engine or a hose is kinked or pinched.

Can you take some pics of the steering on the motor and the nut?
