I bought an 89 Bluewater coastal cruiser with Crusader 454's

Customer Question

I bought an 89 Bluewater coastal cruiser with Crusader 454's 350 hp the port engine needs has poor compression and blowby. Both engines have 1830 hours on them. Removing the engine in such a cramped space looks extremely difficult. How is the removal accomplished and how many hours to complete removing old engine and installing rebuild or is engine worked on while still in the boat. I am trying to figure out labor hours for this procedure
