VerifiedHello. My name is***** you post the boat model number as I don't have a listing for a outboard in 18 feet? In that model year? What kind of a price do they have on the boat now before engine swap?
I would suggest going with more power for this boat to perform well with a full load you will need more like 115 or higher hp.The sterndrive version of this boat has a 130 Merc which is the smallest HP.Se what they will do price wise to go with a larger motor. The best performance you will get out of this boat would be a 150 hp.But I wouldn't go less than 115.
