Customer Question

What would cause a 2005 60 hp EFI Big Foot To run fine and suddenly power down and not turn over about 1900 rpm despite throttle position?

Hi Robert, my name I Jason and I will be helping you today. Any number of things can cause that problem. The engine will need some troubleshooting in order to figure out what the problem is. That would start with engine compression, checking spark output, and checking fuel pressure with the boat at the maximum speed that it will go. Are those checks something you are able to do?
