40 hp evinrude 2 stroke.elere model.overheated recently.water in canal low.blocked water intake.engine wont start now.good compression 120 0n both cylinders.good spark at plugs.but no vaccum at carbs..not taking fuel in.intake manifold gasket fine as are reed valves.replacedcyl head gasket to.any ideas welcome

Hello. My name is***** get the engine model number please?You can't have compression and not have vacuum at carb. How are you determining you have no vacuum?If you squire fuel into the carburetors will engine pop of fire at all? How are you checking spark?
