Hello. My name is Tan.

This is a fuel restriction issue caused by a clogging pick up tube or a clogged vent on the boat side fuel tank. To verify this run the engine on a different fuel tank. If the engine runs better then you have a fuel clog or clogged vent line.

If you use ethanol enriched fuel and the boast sits this will cause clogging issues. Pump the fuel tank and remove the fuel pick up tube from the fuel tank and remove the screen. Some fuel tanks have a fuel shut off valve or an anti siphon valve in the fuel supply line at the top of the fuel tank. The shut valve won't cause this issue but the anti siphon valve will. The anti siphon valve is a check valve that prevents siphoning of the fuel. This valve can stick or clog causing your symptoms.
