I have a 300 HPDI 2001, in idle it will rev up over 3000 rpm

I have a 300 HPDI 2001, in idle it will rev up over 3000 rpm in gear under power it will not go over 2000 rpm, when i am up to speed using other two engines the problem engine will catch up in rpm

Your engine is down on power, most likely due to a dead cylinder. This can be caused by compression, fuel, or spark. Do not run the engine like this because if it is fuel you are running lean and will kill it. If you do your own work we can walk through some troubleshooting to see which cylinder is effected and why.
